State associations and NAMIC member companies can apply to become MID education providers to offer certification curriculum and continuing education at their events or board meetings. Once applications have been submitted and reviewed, NAMIC will provide an email with approval, course instructions, and a sign-in sheet for each course.

Curriculum Providers

Bring the full MID curriculum to your event or boardroom by becoming an approved MID curriculum provider. Once attendees complete all required courses, hosted by you, they will be eligible to sit for the MID exam.

You set the date and location, and we’ll bring the education to you. In-person and virtual facilitation is available, but all courses must be attended live to receive credit. Curriculum provider fees includes all faculty speaking fees. Faculty travel expenses will be invoiced to the provider following the scheduled event.

Marketing Policy

As part of NAMIC's branding standards, it is required that any event or activity related to the association’s Mutual Insurance Director (MID) certification program clearly displays the MID logo. Upon approval to offer the MID curriculum, providers will be given access to the MID logo that must be included in all promotional materials for the event, along with the verbiage below…

<<Provider Name>> is officially recognized by NAMIC as a Mutual Insurance Director (MID) Curriculum Provider for this event. This program has been approved as the complete MID curriculum for individuals pursuing certification, as well as the required annual continuing education for those already certified. For more information about NAMIC's certification programs, please visit NAMIC.org.

Continuing Education Provider

Become an approved MID continuing education provider to offer the credits your members or directors need to renew their certification.

Individual Companies

Individual companies may choose to host director education webinars at individual board meetings for continuing education credit. These are priced per meeting and each webinar need only be purchased once instead of per individual director.

State Associations

State associations can apply for the courses being offered at their events to qualify for MID continuing education credit. Courses must be board-relevant and presented by a qualified instructor. State associations are not permitted to promote the courses for credit until approval is granted. Once approved, NAMIC will be recognized in event promotions as outlined in specific marketing requirements for CE providers.

All requests for NAMIC presenters of any MID continuing education sessions should be sent to certifications@namic.org.
