Mutual Values Meet Board Excellence

Looking for information about NAMIC’s Mutual Director Certification or Farm Mutual Director Certification? These programs are no longer accepting new enrollments. Current and aspiring board members from all company sizes are encouraged to enroll in the Mutual Insurance Director certification instead when registration opens in late Fall of 2024. If you are enrolled or certified in the MDC or FMDC program and have questions about what this means for you, please email certifications@namic.org.

NAMIC's Mutual Insurance Director certification program is designed to educate current and aspiring directors about mutuality and the roles and responsibilities of board members of a mutual insurance company. High-level instruction from industry-experienced faculty paired with tailored educational opportunities based on company size ensure all participants who achieve certification are recognized as industry-leading directors. Earning the MID certification demonstrates commitment to mutual values, ongoing education, and boardroom excellence.
