Exam
The Mutual Insurance Director certification exam is administered online and consists of a randomized series of multiple-choice questions from the program curriculum. Detailed instructions on how to access and complete the exam will be sent via email to participants once their curriculum requirement has been met. The exam must be taken within 3 months of receiving that email and certification is achieved by earning a score of at least 70 percent.
Exam Study Materials
Once participants are enrolled in the program and have met their curriculum requirement, they will be given access to exam study materials through the online exam portal. These materials will provide supplemental information and sample exam questions.
Exam Retake Policy
If an individual does not pass the exam the first time, he/she will be allowed one complimentary retake. If a third attempt is needed, an exam retake fee will apply. After a third attempt without passing the exam, the individual is no longer eligible to take the exam for certification without re-enrolling in the program.
