This four-part series provides attendees with the opportunity to learn the language and methods used in finance to measure and drive performance in a mutual insurance company. Topics will include how to identify key value drivers using real world examples, how to use financial models and best practices to make value enhancing decisions, and how to read and deconstruct financial statements to assess performance and identify risks.
Strategic planning in the deliberate search for a plan of action that will enhance a business’s competitive advantage. This four-part series, led by a Kelley School of Business Executive Education faculty member, provides attendees with a framework for strategic planning. In this course, participants will learn about various strategic models, tools, and frameworks with the goal of applying these strategic insights to their own organization’s situation.
The target audience for this event is insurance company professionals with varying levels of experience, but mostly mid-level managers and senior-level individual contributors who are interested in developing their skillsets to become more well-rounded leaders for their organizations.
