Changes are evolving with respect to data consumption and the need for more of it. The National Council on Compensation Insurance, the New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board, and the New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau have already lowered their thresholds for reporting the indemnity data call and medical data call with potentially other data collection organizations to follow. Furthermore, NCCI has approved the change to add additional data elements to IDC reporting. This session will detail the expansion of these states, the claims impact, and the steps to stay compliant.
