The Banking, Commerce and Insurance Committee heard LB 912 on Jan. 22, which allows for greater freedom in UM/UIM contracts, including the ability to reduce the time period in which a suit seeking recovery can be initiated. The bill is sponsored by Sen. Julie Slama who chairs the committee.
