Introduction to Reinsurance

While reinsurance has always played a vital role in supporting mutual insurance companies, recent market dynamics have created new and growing interest on reinsurance as a cornerstone of mutual companies’ capital structures. Born out of the market-leading Aon reinsurance solutions training program, this session will provide a high-level introduction to reinsurance. Attendees will gain an understanding of basic reinsurance concepts and terminology as well as various types of reinsurance and their uses.
