Matt Overturf

Matt Overturf is NAMIC’s assistant vice president of State Affairs. In this role he leads NAMIC’s state advocacy team and advocates on behalf of NAMIC member companies before the National Council of Insurance Legislators.

Overturf joined NAMIC in 2021 serving as the regional vice president for the Ohio Valley/Mid-Atlantic region. Before joining NAMIC, Overturf spent 10 years working in state government in Ohio.

Overturf graduated from Wittenberg University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and business. He is a member of the Association of Ohio Commodores, and the Ohio Lobbying Association.
