Biography

Maggie Seidel is a strategic communications executive with nearly two decades of experience turning complex ideas into simple stories that move audiences and drive results. Across major trade associations, a Governor’s Office, and Capitol Hill, she has served as chief growth officer, principal spokesperson, speechwriter, and brand architect — operating at the intersection of communications and business development, where the best stories don’t just earn coverage, they build brands, open doors, and accelerate growth.

Seidel joined NAMIC from Finseca, a national group for financial security professionals. She started there with the task of building the brand from the ground up and rose to chief growth officer – growing the group’s membership and strengthening its finances along the way. Before Finseca, Seidel spent her career in public service and advocacy. She ran a governor’s office. She advised several members of Congress. And she also worked for two major trade groups.

Seidel holds a master’s degree in economics from George Mason University, a master’s degree in election and campaign management from Fordham University, and a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University.
