Kate Salazar

Kate Salazar serves as NAMIC’s state and policy affairs manager. While providing support to the state and policy affairs team, she is also responsible for the coordination of NAMIC State Affairs Committee meetings and associated communications. In addition, Salazar manages event coordination and communications on NAMIC’s coverage of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners meetings.

Prior to joining NAMIC, Salazar spent more than 10 years in the hospitality industry, most recently in hotel sales and event management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in tourism, conventions, and event management as well as her certificate in business foundations from Indiana University.
