Biography

Brian Snyder serves as senior director of membership at NAMIC. He directs member recruitment and retention activities and helps members make the most of their association benefits. Snyder also oversees a variety of other programs, including the association’s benchmarking solutions and arbitration program.

Snyder joined NAMIC in 2018 as a products manage and served in that role the events and marketing communications teams before moving to the membership team in 2022. He has prior association experience with United Benefit Advisors, a national group of employee benefit brokers. He started his professional career in journalism and worked as a reporter or editor.

Snyder achieved certification in nonprofit management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from Indiana University.
