In light of the severe weather conditions that Georgia experienced during the week of Sept. 23, the Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire issued Directive 24-EX-5 encouraging insurers to promptly acknowledge receipt of all weather-related claims and make appropriate assignments for their investigation.
