Luncheon at Convention


“FUNDING OUR FUTURE” LUNCH

Monday, September 23, 11:30 a.m.

Each convention attendee is invited to participate in the first fundraising luncheon at Convention to support the NAMIC Mutual Insurance Foundation Scholarship program. This function is hosted by the NAMIC Merit Society and replaces the traditional NAMIC Merit Society Luncheon. All convention attendees are encouraged to attend! A portion of the proceeds from the lunch will “fund it forward” by providing scholarships to deserving students pursuing insurance/risk management careers. By 2023 the Foundation expects to raise $50,000 annually for the Scholarship fund through events like this luncheon, and from contributions from company and personal donors. Tickets are $125 for attendees — and because it is for a good cause, you will receive a tax deduction for a portion of your ticket price. Guests may attend for $75. Tickets can be purchased when registering for Convention (and a limited number of tickets will be available for sale at the NAMIC Event Information Desk).
