Complete the guest interest form to let us know a little bit about yourself.
Each member of the podcast production team will receive a copy of your information. If there is an interest in having you or your spokesperson as a guest on the show, we will be in touch regarding next steps. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee placement on an upcoming episode.
Below are a few questions you can ask to determine whether your proposed interview guest or topic is something NAMIC would feature on its podcast:
Is it newsworthy?
- Timeliness: Is the topic something fresh and new that’s happening now or about to happen soon?
- Prominence: Is the interview guest a notable or prominent insurance industry or policy personality?
- Proximity: Is the interview guest physically close to an event making headlines? (i.e. Texas member interviewed being interviewed Hurricane Harvey)
- Impact: Is the topic something that will affect a large portion of the industry? Does the company have an expert who would give us a new perspective on an insurance-related topic? (i.e. flood insurance, drone use, distracted driving etc.) Keep in mind, Insurance Uncovered does not include promotions for products/services or other self-promotional items.
- Bizarre/Human Interest: Is the topic something unusual that would catch people’s interest, or something that could be presented from an emotional human-interest perspective?
Do you want to be featured on a new membership segment about mutuality? Here are a couple questions we are looking to have our members answer:
- How does your company best exemplify mutuality? What does being “mutual” mean to you?
- In what unique ways does your company give back to policyholders and/or the community?
- What innovations has your company put into effect to benefit policyholders and/or the community?
