Our Position
As states begin to amend their reinsurance collateral laws and regulations, NAMIC has determined not to oppose the changes the states will make provided they conform to the revised NAIC Credit for Reinsurance Model Law and Regulation. Although NAMIC will not oppose, neither will NAMIC affirmatively endorse or support.
