La Cantera Hill Country Resort

Rate: $239.00 plus taxes per night for single/double occupancy.
There is an additional $10 resort charge per room, per night which includes:
Daily bottled water
Basic wireless internet in guest rooms
Shuttle service within a 3 mile radius
Golf bag storage
20% discount on the use of golf practice facilities
Please note these additional details regarding hotel reservations at the La Cantera Hill Country Resort:
When reservations are made, the hotel will require a deposit equal to one night for each reservation made. That deposit is refundable if the Resort receives notice of a cancellation at least seven (7) business days prior to scheduled arrival.
Upon check-in at the hotel, each guest will be required to present a valid credit card on which an amount of sufficient pre-authorization can be obtained to cover the room and tax charges and Resort fees for the length of the guest’s stay, plus the anticipated use of the Resort’s ancillary services. In addition, the hotel will require each guest’s home/business address and e-mail address.
Check into the hotel is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. local time.
Claims Conference attendees are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements. A set number of rooms are available at the group rate for registered conference attendees until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, January 13, 2017 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. After this time, the hotel has the right to sell any available rooms at a rate which they choose. While NAMIC studies past attendance trends and the needs of our members, we cannot guarantee rooms will be available. Please plan ahead and secure your reservation as soon as possible to receive the group rate.
Hotel rooms within the Claims Conference block are for registered conference attendees. Upon registering with NAMIC, you will be provided information within the confirmation email on how to make room reservations with the hotel.

Occasionally, groups claiming to be a “Housing Bureau” (or a similar name) have contacted registered and/or previous attendees of the NAMIC Claims Conference claiming the ability to secure room reservations at the host hotel at a discounted rate. Please be aware that these companies are not authorized to represent NAMIC, and cannot secure rooms within the group room block. Unfortunately, this problem is becoming more prevalent among conferences. If you are considering alternative housing arrangements for the conference, please keep in mind that there are benefits to booking your reservation through NAMIC including discounted rates, protected reservations, and the ability for NAMIC staff to assist you with a reservation should you experience a problem. NAMIC cannot be responsible for any issues arising out of booking with a third-party entity.
How do I secure a legitimate reservation with NAMIC?
The only way in which conference attendees can make a room reservation within the NAMIC room block is by using the direct link or phone number provided in the confirmation email once a convention registration has been completed. Who should I notify if I am contacted?
If you are contacted by a company indicating they can secure a hotel room for the conference, please do not share any personal information with them, and report the incident to NAMIC immediately at email@example.com.
