Christopher Nicolopoulos

Christopher Nicolopoulos serves as NAMIC’s senior regional vice president for the Northeast, where he advocates for member companies across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

A seasoned leader in government relations and regulatory affairs, Chris has deep expertise in the insurance industry. He previously served as New Hampshire’s insurance commissioner, overseeing the state’s $10 billion insurance market and a 75-person team. Additionally, Chris led the New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents as CEO, driving key legislative and regulatory initiatives.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of New Hampshire and a law degree from New England School of Law.
