South Carolina Governor Announces Additional Evacuations
Gov. Nikki Haley signed an executive order requiring the evacuation of residents of Colleton and Jasper counties with the exception of those critical or emergency response personnel.

Georgia: Deal orders mandatory evacuation east of Interstate 95 for six coastal counties
Acting on a recommendation from the state's Emergency Operations Command in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew, Gov. Nathan Deal [Thursday] issued a mandatory evacuation east of Interstate 95 for six coastal counties.

Florida: Catastrophe Reporting for Insurance Companies
In the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster causing catastrophic damage in Florida, it will likely become necessary for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Office to institute a data call for the purposes of collecting claims and other relevant information from insurance companies. South Carolina Governor Announces Evacuations
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley announced evacuations for certain coastal zones in the following counties: Phase 1 evacuation will begine Oct. 5 at 3:00 p.m.: Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, Jasper, Colleton and Beaufort counties. Phase 2 will begin on Oct. 6 and will include portions of Horry and Georgetown counties. For more evacuation information, visit the Emergency Management Division’s website.

South Carolina Department of Insurance
The South Carolina Department of Insurance has issued Bulletin 2016-07 relative to the licensing of temporary, non-resident adjusters. It is effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
