As mutual insurers continue to navigate the new normal that has emerged post- pandemic, the value proposition of a strongly capitalized and diverse insurance market is as critical as ever. Carriers facing an unprecedented velocity of disruption must build their plans with resilience in mind. It is against this backdrop that NAMIC and Guy Carpenter collaborated to provide scenario testing analysis for the mutual property/casualty industry to help NAMIC member companies proactively measure and manage emerging risks before they manifest in their financial results.

During this session, Guy Carpenter experts will report on the key lessons learned from the first year of scenario testing. The presenters will compare 2021 financial results to expectations and look forward to new risks to model. Attendees will gain a better understanding for how they can incorporate scenario testing into their strategies and financial planning. Leadership Power Session: Now What? Prioritizing Personal and Organizational Growth to Go From Recovery to Reinvention
Today’s leaders have faced a dynamic environment that features everything from a dismantled supply chain and an economy on the brink of disaster to virtual teams and overdue calls for equity and more focus on mental health. We’ve continued to persevere through many challenges. Now what?

Leaders can’t just flip the switch and resume their previously scheduled paths to success. Plus, the way forward is filled with unclear and competing priorities, contradictions in what customers want and expect, and employees who are divided on why and where they work. How do leaders inspire, inform, and prepare their people and organizations for what’s ahead? Prioritize growth. Yes, that means financial growth but it also means personal growth, organizational growth, and systems growth. It means the growth of new communities, new processes, new environments, and more.

Great challenges always create great opportunities. And this opportunity is a once-in-lifetime chance to reinvent and re-energize yourself, your team, and your business. Join Ron Tite for a presentation that will inspire you to not go back to where you were but rather go forward to where you deserve to be.
