More than Museums, Monuments, and Memorials

Washington D.C.’s world-class museums, iconic monuments, and emotion-evoking memorials are packed full of U.S. history. But while NAMIC Annual Convention attendees are visiting the nation’s capital this September, there is also plenty to see and do beyond tourist staples. Check out our list below for a few options for Convention goers who are arriving early or looking for a night on the town after sessions adjourn.

And just as an FYI, temperatures in D.C. in late September average between 55 degrees and 75 degrees. A light jacket might be a good idea for outdoor events, especially for those taking place in the evening.
