The NAMIC 118th Annual Convention in Seattle has broken the all-time delegate attendance record for convention, breaking the record set in 1989. This year’s delegates are coming from 42 states and 12 countries.
Our latest delegate count indicates we will set a record with 1,203 delegates attending, plus nearly 700 additional guests, exhibitor representatives, and speakers bringing total attendance to almost 2,000 people. Due to the size of this year’s event, sessions and events will take place in both the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle and the adjacent Sheraton Hotel. While we originally booked two hotels for convention attendees – the Sheraton and the Grand Hyatt – we added two more hotels to accommodate the increased attendance.
The next few days are going to be filled with excitement and informative general and concurrent sessions, and many opportunities for fellowship and fun.
