How do you keep up with the changing trends in a crowded automobile marketplace? NAMIC’s Future of Auto Summit will connect you with the answer.
Join us for an exclusive hands-on learning experience discussing the evolution and future of automotive technology, product developments, and regulatory updates. At this two-day event, we will also discuss the Internet of Things and the revolution of connected living, including evolving societal habits, and telematics.
NAMIC will host classroom-style presentations on emerging issues in the realm of automobile technology, product developments, and current regulatory discussions on Tuesday, Oct. 9. On Oct. 10, participants will be divided into several groups and transported to the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute and Mcity Test Facility on the UM campus for a hands-on learning experience, facility tour, and exclusive opportunity to meet researchers in this ever-changing field.
Mcity provides testing at a one-of-a-kind proving ground, simulating the complexities of an urban environment through on-road vehicle deployments in Ann Arbor and southeast Michigan. With an interdisciplinary approach, Mcity researchers and partners look to address the host of legal, political, social, regulatory, economic, urban planning, and business issues that must be addressed to devise and implement practical systems that take advantage of emerging technologies.
