NAMIC: New Login Process for NAMIC.org Goes Into Effect
In order to improve NAMIC members’ experience when using NAMIC.org, the technology and process for logging in to the website are being updated.
Effective June 20th at 4 p.m. EDT, the USERNAME that a member has used in the past to login to NAMIC.org will no longer be valid. All registered users will be required to re-login using their business email address as their new username. Existing PASSWORDS will remain the same.
NAMIC is making this change to improve the member registration process, enabling automatic verification of an individual’s status as an employee, officer, and/or director of a member company and immediate confirmation and access to the website.
Individuals who are employed by NAMIC member companies but are not currently registered for unrestricted access to the NAMIC website can register here.
NAMIC.org underwent a major redesign in August 2012, making it easier for users to find and access information. The primary goal of the redesign was to enable users to locate information in “three-clicks-or-less” – an ambitious objective considering the site has more than 25,000 pages of content. Last month nearly 20,000 users visited the NAMIC website.
