NAMIC was honored on June 25, 2013 with three "Awards of Excellence" from the Insurance Marketing & Communications Association. The awards recognized NAMIC for its website, the 2012 Year in Review annual report, and a membership video that was produced earlier in the year.
Audra Carrel, director of digital media, accepted the awards on NAMIC’s behalf at the IMCA’s convention in Philadelphia. More than 400 entries across 35 different categories from major insurance organizations across North America were submitted for judging by a national panel of experts.
“Earning these awards is especially gratifying because we faced formidable competition from many of the largest insurance organizations in the country, and NAMIC held its own,” according to Brent Bahler, vice president of public affairs.
IMCA represents the insurance and financial services industries throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Bermuda with members from more than 120 companies, including the top five property casualty writers in the country. The group’s membership includes senior level management and professional staff in advertising, public relations, marketing communications, marketing and sales promotion, marketing research and technology.
