To achieve certification, simply enroll in the program, then take four different classes in each of three areas of learning (modules):

Once you are Certified
After certification is achieved, FMDCs must take four different classes every two years to maintain the certification. Courses may come from any module. In the event that a director is not able to complete the required maintenance courses before expiration, a one-time grace period may be enacted free of charge. If you would like to request a grace period, please email email@example.com.
With the induction of the Class of 2017, 511 active farm mutual directors have now completed certification and another 521 are actively enrolled in the program.
