Join NAMIC and the North Carolina Association of Mutual Insurance Companies on Nov. 4 in presenting the Legislator of the Year Award to North Carolina Rep. Hugh Holliman.
As you know, NAMIC announced during our national convention in September that North Carolina lawmakers Rep. Holliman and Sen. Tony Rand were selected as our Legislator of the Year award recipients this year.
Neither Rep. Holliman nor Sen. Rand was able to be with us in Atlanta for the announcement, so we are fortunate to have this opportunity for a formal presentation to Rep. Holliman during a luncheon at the North Carolina Association of Insurance Companies Fall Conference at Kingston Plantation Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach on Nov. 4.
We invite you and/or others from your company to attend the luncheon. Please let Liz Reynolds, Southeast state affairs manager, know by NOON Wednesday, Oct. 28 if you would like to join us. Seating is limited.
Rep. Holliman is slated to speak at 11 a.m., prior to the luncheon. In addition, North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin is speaking after lunch. Jennifer Cohen, Insurance Federation of North Carolina executive director, follows Commissioner Goodwin, and Lamont Boyd of FICO is on the program later in the afternoon. You may be interested in attending those presentations as well as the luncheon.
Sen. Rand has a heavy travel schedule at the moment and is unable to be in Myrtle Beach with Rep. Holliman. NAMIC will continue to work with his office to find an appropriate opportunity to present the award to him and will keep you posted.
We hope to have a good turnout of NAMIC, NCAMIC, and other industry partners at the luncheon to support Rep. Holliman’s recognition as our Legislator of the Year award recipient. Please extend this invitation to others who may be interested in participating.
