Insurance Department to Hold Hearings on Compensation for Agents and Brokers Jointly with Attorney General

The New York Insurance Department will hold joint public hearings on compensation arrangements for insurance agents and brokers with the Office of the Attorney General, Insurance Superintendent Eric Dinallo announced July 1. The hearings will cover issues including contingent and supplemental commissions, producer compensation disclosure, and deceptive or anti-competitive practices.
