Report: Workers' Compensation Costs per Claim in Louisiana Higher than Most Other Study States

Workers' compensation costs per claim in Louisiana were 28 percent higher than the median of 14 states for a similar set of claims from 2003 to 2006, according to a new study by the Cambridge, Mass.-based Workers Compensation Research Institute.
