The House approved H.R. 3121, the Flood Insurance Reform and Modernization Act, by a vote of 263-146 on Sept. 27. The bill provides overdue and much-needed reforms to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and updates the program to meet the needs of the 21st century.
