Virginia: 2005 Statistics Show Continued Success in Stamping Out Insurance Fraud

The number of arrests for insurance fraud and related crimes in Virginia reached 306 in 2005, a 150 percent from 2004, according to the 2005 Annual Report recently released by the Insurance Fraud Program (IFP) of the Virginia State Police (VSP).
