Relates to insurance and the Insurance Guaranty Association; defines terms; allows the association to pursue recovery from high net worth insureds and affiliates on paid covered claims; allows the association the right to recover attorney fees incurred in obtaining reimbursement; relates to insolvent insurers, self insurers, and governmental entities as insureds. Effective date: August 1, 2009.

Homeowners’ Insurance

Boating Accident Reports

Relates to boats and boating; increases the amount of property damage required to be sustained in a boating accident before an accident report is required to be filed with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; provides for the duty of the operator. Effective date: August 1, 2009.
