Effective date: March 26, 2008.

Relates to neighborhood electric vehicles of a specified speed limit per hour; amends provision relating to municipal licensing of vehicles used within the municipality; requires registration with the Department of Transportation; provides for biennial registration fees; exempts certificates of title from supplemental and environmental impact fees. Effective date: November 16, 2007.

Effective date: March 13, 2008.

Relates to a definition of late enrollee; makes group insurance certificates available electronically; prohibits a lender from requiring property insurance exceeding the replacement value of improvements; provides for premium tax statute of limitations; amends the insurance security fund; exempts the fund for liability for payment after an order of liquidation; provides for reinsurers, insurance pools, subrogation and underwriting associations; relates to the local government property insurance fund. Effective date: March 26, 2008.

Driver’s Licenses

Relates to driver education instruction and driver's license examinations; adds knowledge of laws related to passing stopped emergency vehicles, tow trucks and highway machinery equipment to the list of requirements imposed on applicants for a motor vehicle operator’s license.
