Changes the laws regarding motor vehicle service contracts and product service agreements. Effective: January 1, 2008.

HB 780

Military personnel insurance-related legislation

Expands license renewal extensions for professionals completing military service to include all professionals licensed by the Division of Professional Registration. Also includes provisions dealing with auto financial responsibility. Effective: June 1, 2008.

SB 66

Financial regulation

Relates to insurance company investments and how boards of trustees of police and firemen's pension systems may invest monies; exempts insurance companies from certain laws; amends provisions regarding foreign investment; includes loans. Effective: August 28, 2007.

Modifies various provisions relating to motor vehicles, including salvage vehicles. Effective: varies

Allows for the formation of captive insurance companies within the state under certain conditions. Effective: August 28, 2007.
