Amends existing law to revise the requirements of a class D supervised instruction permit; to increase the minimum time required of a permittee to operate a vehicle with a supervised instruction permit; to provide for cancellation of a class D supervised instruction permit upon a violation of state underage consumption law; to limit the number of passengers allowed in a vehicle operated by a driver with a class D driver's license who is under the age of seventeen years; and to provide an exception. Effective: July 1, 2007. |
