(Medical Malpractice)

Ballot Initiative 330

Caps noneconomic damages in medical malpractice cases, shortens time limits for filing cases, limits repayments to insurers and limits claimants' attorney fees. Filed in Legislature 1/26/05.

Ballot Initiative 336

Requires notices and hearings on rate increases, establishes supplemental malpractice, requires license revocation proceedings after three incidents, and limits the number of expert witnesses in lawsuits. Filed in Legislature 1/26/05.

Workers' Compensation

(Inclusion of Accounts into Guaranty Association)
