Workers' Compensation |
Allows, in cases where a surviving child receives workers' compensation benefits, a child enrolled or preregistered in a post-secondary educational institution to continue receiving benefits until reaching age 21. Effective 7/1/04. Chapter 32, Laws of 2004. |

Workers' Compensation |
Requires temporary light duty awards be paid monthly at 80% of the difference between the employer's light duty wage and the employee's actual monthly earnings. Periods of light duty work may not exceed one cumulative year for any single injury. Provides that payment will cease if the employee's actual monthly earnings, inclusive of the light duty award, exceed 95% of the actual monthly earnings at the time of injury. Effective 7/1/04. CLUE |

Licensure |
Amends provisions relating to insurance producer licensing, including changes to fee standards and levels, appointment processes and continuing education requirements. Effective 71/04. Chapter 7, Laws of 2004. |

State Regulator Authority |
Authorizes the commissioner to accept, for any foreign insurer required to file any statements, an electronic filing with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners that meets the requirements of this section as a filing with the commissioner. Effective 7/1/04. Chapter 14, Laws of 2004. |
