About the Leadership Forum

Make plans now to join other mutual insurance industry leaders in St. Charles, Illinois, for the 2009 NAMIC Leadership Forum and PFMM courses - Strategic Business Management Module on April 14-16. Advanced PFMM and roundtable discussion sessions will also be offered for a variety of instructional and networking opportunities.

The Leadership Forum is designed for managers and leaders of farm mutual insurance companies. Future leaders of farm mutuals are encouraged to attend. Sessions include topics focused on leadership principles, human resources, board relations, strategic and succession planning, public relations and marketing, case studies presented by member company representatives, and much more.

The PFMM courses provide education and information on vital issues that will benefit both the new and experienced farm mutual manager in the areas of strategic business management, financial management, underwriting, and claims as part of the Professional Farm Mutual Manager (PFMM) designation program. This 12-hour module emphasizes the essential topic of strategic business management.

"The schedule was so interesting, it was hard to decide which session to go to at times. I wanted to attend two at the same time! I've had my PFMM since 1996. The new offering of PFMM Advanced sessions are a great addition to the round tables and PFMM modules. Always great to see old friends and make new ones."

Maureen Reineke - Manager
