All roads lead to the Leadership Forum! Make plans now to join other mutual insurance industry leaders in Des Moines, Iowa, for the 2008 NAMIC Leadership Forum and PFMM courses - Underwriting & Claims Module on April 15-17. This year we've combined two valuable educational events into one great opportunity.

The Leadership Forum is designed for managers and leaders of farm mutual insurance companies. Sessions will include topics focused on leadership, company operations, board relations, strategic and succession planning, and case studies presented by member company representatives. The PFMM courses provide education and information on vital issues that will benefit both the new and experienced farm mutual manager in the areas of leadership, financial management, underwriting, and claims. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Renaissance Savery Hotel stands as an elegant architectural landmark in the heart of downtown Des Moines. With a tradition of fine hospitality and savvy service, it is here that presidents, generals, and some of the Midwest's grandest events were celebrated. The beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites have provided accommodations and hospitality services to such notables as Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover, Harry S. Truman, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Lady Bird and Lyndon Johnson.

This Des Moines hotel is linked by a climate-controlled skywalk to the Convention Center, the Iowa Events Center, and Wells Fargo Arena, as well as businesses such as Principal Financial, Wells Fargo and Allied/Nationwide. The State Capitol Building, Drake University, Prairie Meadows Horse Track & Casino, and the Science Center of Iowa are all minutes from the door. The hotel features a health club with a large indoor pool, a whirlpool, a steam room, and a sauna.
