Relates to damages to rental vehicles; requires customer notification of government and transportation fees in advertisements and before contract signing; amends provisions regarding collision, theft or loss of the vehicle, damage notification and waivers, limit on storage fees, and an estimate from competing repair shops assessing damages; allows a rental company to use the credit pursuant to a renter's credit card as deposit for damages to the damaged vehicle or for other charges in the rental agreement. Effective: April 4, 2006. |
