Relates to the Conveyance Safety Act for elevators and other related equipment; provides that employers are liable for all reasonable medical, surgical and hospital services for an injured employee's restoration of health and employment under the workers' compensation provisions of law; relates to setting of fees for those services by the Workers' Compensation Court; provides that such insurers may negotiate a contract for fees that are greater or less than the fees established by the court. Effective: dates vary. |

Relates to federal transportation regulations; updates explosive, fireworks, liquefied petroleum gas, commercial operator licensing, motor vehicle size and load requirements and motor carrier provisions; eliminates specified motor carrier enforcement provisions; regulates all motor carriers transporting persons or property in intrastate commerce and transportation of hazardous materials; provides minimum levels of financial responsibility for motor carriers and qualifications for driving instructors. Effective: March 6, 2006. |
