You are the voice of the property/casualty industry. Advocating for issues of importance to your business and developing and maintaining relationships with your elected leaders is critical. By taking the first step and joining NAMIC’s political programs, you will find all the tools you will need to communicate and build a relationship with your members of Congress, take action on key issues that affect your business, and cast an informed vote on Election Day.
NAMIC’s political programs include:
- NAMIC PAC: The PAC is an opportunity for NAMIC members to pool their issues and resources to form one strong unified voice for the industry. Through contributions made by NAMIC PAC to federal and state candidates, we can ensure established relationships with these elected officials who share and support our philosophies in office.
- Congressional Contact Program (CCP): The premier grassroots program in the property/casualty industry. CCP is the only state-by-state personalized legislative fly-in to visit your legislators on Capitol Hill.
- Legislative Action Center: Get directly involved in the legislative process! The Center enables NAMIC’s members and their employees across the country to communicate directly with their elected officials by sending tailored letters on issues of importance for the property/casualty industry.
We’re in the midst of our most challenging legislative and regulatory battles with the certainty of more to come, and we need the support of all of our mutual property/casualty activists involved our advocacy efforts. As a leader in the business world-small or large, it’s your duty to stay informed about and get involved in the advocacy efforts available to you through NAMIC. As the saying goes, “if you’re in business, you’re in politics.”
Your involvement will be an essential component of our collective success now and in the years to come. Please take a moment to learn about and join NAMIC’s political programs.
