The NAIC's broker activities task force will meet on Monday morning in both public and executive sessions. No agenda for either session has been published so far. The NAIC has taken no definitive action in the broker disclosure arena since it approved its Producer Licensing Model Law amendments in a contentious conference call at the end of December. Many regulators on that conference call voted against adoption of the Model Law amendments and it was clear from the discussions prior to the vote that there was no consensus among the NAIC members as to what if anything should be done.
