Predictions for an "Active" Hurricane Season in 2006

Just days after the official close of the busiest Atlantic hurricane season on record, and while Hurricane Epsilon was still churning in the Atlantic, and before Zeta made its presence known, a research team from the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University in Fort Collins predicted an active season for 2006.
