In the past three years, Church Mutual has increased its writings by 80 percent, and its adoption of mapping and location intelligence technology played a role in the growth. In 1999, the company purchased location intelligence software from MapInfo Corporation of Troy, N.Y., to help it seek out new business opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
