The Time for Reform is Now

During the past decade, there has been a significant swing in momentum regarding government pricing of insurance products. Public policy consensus has continued to build toward the advancement of substantial insurance rate regulatory reform across the country. Today, just 22 states continue to apply prior approval laws to certain personal or commercial lines. In the last few years alone, 11 states have acted to liberalize their rating laws.
