New Hampshire: Supreme Court Says State Cannot Take JUA Funds, as Argued in NAMIC Amicus Brief

The New Hampshire Supreme Court last week ruled that it was impermissible for the state to transfer more than $100 million from the surplus of the New Hampshire Medical Malpractice Joint Underwriting Association to the state’s general fund because the transfer would impair the contractual rights of JUA policyholders.
