Job Title: Online Services Manager

Location: Indianapolis, Ind.

Description: To direct NAMIC's Internet presence, which consists primarily of the insurance portal site NAMIC Online (www.namic.org). This individual would serve as managing editor for the site, editing and composing content and working collaboratively with other staff of the association. Candidates should understand Web communication, navigation and design issues, and be able to implement changes to meet the needs of our property/casualty insurance industry target audience.

Qualifications:

Five or more years of writing/editorial experience and Web site management, design and maintenance responsibilities preferred.

Prior work experience with various aspects of digital communications including e-mail, Internet research and marketing, listserves, advertising, etc.

Working knowledge of Front Page, Active Server Pages, Java Script, database-to-Internet Delivery systems, Microsoft Access, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Corel Draw/Paint.

Previous writing/editorial experience for Public Affairs function and graphic design preferable.

Experience working in the insurance industry desired.

Bachelors degree or equivalent length of relevant work experience preferred.
