  • Design, build, test, document and maintain web applications to meet the ongoing and future needs of the organization.
  • Design, build, test, document and maintain reports in support of organizational objectives.
  • Design, build, document and maintain databases in support of organizational objectives.
  • Maintains the security and integrity of the organization’s information in accordance with established security models and standards.
  • Reviews existing programming documentation and underlying code to correct, improve or otherwise rectify the programming and design team’s intent.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive work relationships with management, staff members, and external contacts.
  • Ability to arrive to work on time and maintain a positive attendance record.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President—Information Technology.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer technology, or equivalent.
  • One or more years of developing database applications (relevant technologies include: MS SQL Server, ADO, OLEDB, Transact SQL, and Visual Basic)
  • One or more years of developing Web applications (relevant technologies include: ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and VB.NET).
  • Knowledge of Development Methodologies and Project Lifecycle requirements.
  • Experience with Business Objects preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Description:
The ideal candidate will apply the principles of accounting and statistical analysis to maintain the Company's financial accounting records and systems. Essential Functions include: Prepares journal entries for business transactions of assigned accounts, compiles results and reconciles balances of various accounts regularly. Gathers data and performs moderately complex calculations in order to prepare a variety of recurring financial statements and underlying workpapers. Performs a variety of activities related to financials, including monitoring general ledger accounts, tracking investment activity, and transferring monies between funds. Prepares and verifies vouchers, invoices, checks, and related financial reports for internal use, management review and submission to regulatory agencies. Assists outside auditors and Insurance Department examiners with periodic audits. Researches, compiles and develops special projects as requested or required. Works with outside vendors, brokers and other contacts to gather and verify accounting related information and to address questions. Performs other functions as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have: a Bachelors degree with a major in Accounting, a minimum of 1 year previous insurance accounting experience preferred, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent PC and software skills.

Qualifications:
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, risk management or related field or equivalent experience. Associate degree in risk management (ARM) desired. Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible management experience in the insurance industry. Experience with mutuals and/or public entity risk pools preferred. Ability to become licensed insurance agent in Wisconsin. Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) desired. Position Opportunities: $45 million in assets. Rated A- by A.M. Best. Key player in municipal liability insurance industry. Experienced staff. Established strategic planning process.
