Graduated Drivers' Licensing [F/S]
Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death among teenagers in every state. Graduated drivers licensing (GDL) is a system designed to allow young, novice drivers to develop their driving skills before full driving privileges are granted. NAMIC supports graduated drivers licensing for young drivers, and supports federal laws to encourage states to adopt minimum GDL laws.
