NAMIC Leaders Explain the Importance of Activism on Capitol Hill

It's been said that "all politics is local." Thomas P. "Tip" O'Neill, the former Speaker of the House in Congress and a one-time Massachusetts insurance agent, made the comment more than 20 years ago. He was referring to the fact that much of the federal legislation adopted is the result of the problems and concerns of the specific cities and towns in the jurisdictions of members of Congress.
